The Iowa Izaak Walton League’s booth at the Iowa State Fair was staffed with our faithful volunteers during our three days (August 15-17th). We were grateful for the beautiful space we shared with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, located on their outside patio near the duck pond.
Rick Cerwick, Lisa McIntyre, Dale Braun and Christine Curry took the lead with many others filling in various shifts, including Agriculture Director Kate Hansen, Cheryl Kunch and a few of the Newton Chapter members, Aaron Staker from the Ankeny Chapter, Mike Delany and his wife Dell Radcliffe from the Des Moines Chapter and a few other friends.
