Iowa Division Trapshoot - 2026
AS of 7/8 the Iowa Division Trapshoot has been postponed due to low participation from State Chapters.
A thanks to all members who have supported this event in the past and continue to support the mission of the IWLA.
The State Board will be working to determine a new date/time for the event and we'll look forward to seeing you soon!
Postponed Event Details
This event is open to all Adult Izaak Walton League members along with any Student or Youth Shooters.
Program
This is a 50 Bird Program
- 1 round of 25 targets @ the 16 yard line.
- 1 round of 25 targets @ the 23 yard line.
Start Time
This event is postponed until further notice.
Costs
Registration is $16 per shooter and covers entry and target fees.
Rules
Standard ATA rules will apply.
Chapter and Facility Safety rules apply and all participants will be required to sign a safety waiver upon arrival.
No refunds will be granted.
The Ankeny Izaak Walton League reserves the right to ask any shooter to leave for any reason.
Good sportsmanship is expected and member conduct should be respectful at all times.

- Organizers and Scorers Can Stop Shooting at Any Time
Squadding & Registration
Registrations will occur entirely onsite.
You can RSVP Jim Meek if you are planning to attend and/or have squadding needs and wish to preregister.
Concessions
Onsite concessions will be available.

Refunds
There will be no refunds issued in the case of weather or acts of god. Every effort will be made to allow every shooter to participate.
Awards
You must be present to win an award. Awards will not be mailed.
