Iowa Division Scholarships

About

Our Mission is to conserve, restore and promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of Iowa’s Natural Resources.  This includes soil, air, woods, water and wildlife. We promote directly through local Chapters true sportsmanship, community and the principles of practical conservation across Iowa.  

The Iowa Divsion consists of 39 chapters and over 6000+ members.  The Iowa Division was established over a century ago and continues to be on the forefront of conservation across Iowa.

Overview

The Iowa Division provides two, $2,500.00 scholarships annually in financial assistance to deserving students who have completed at least one year of College and meet all eligibility criteria as defined below. Scholarship payments will be made directly to the school named on the application, payments must be used for eligible educational expenses (primarily tuition).

Eligibility

  • Graduate of an Iowa High School
  • Entering Sophmore, Junior or Senior Year at an Iowa College, University or Technical School
  • Full-Time Student majoring in environmental science, conservation, natural resources or a related field of study.

Required with Application

  1. Copy of your unofficial college and high school transcripts.
  2. Two signed letters of recommendation.
    1. A personal reference (not related).
    2. Academic reference from your academic institution.
